Probably the most striking garden within the grounds at Tullyveery, the Walled Garden provides shelter even on blustery days. Its location makes it convenient to Courtyard amenities as well providing easy assess to the rest of the grounds for photographic opportunities. The herbaceous border provides a wonderful backdrop for your ceremony from spring right through to late Autumn.
For very large ceremonies, or for couples wishing to marvel at the natural beauty of the rolling Drumlins of County Down and the silhouette of the Mourne Mountains while making their vows, the Front Lawn is for you. With the Georgian house behind you and the panoramic views in front, it is hard not to want to tie-the-knot in such an inspiring location. The Front Lawn is best suited for ceremonies from early summer onward.

The final outdoor location is the Kitchen Garden (Summer House Garden), suitable for more intimate ceremonies, there is something special about this garden. Guests seem naturally drawn to it, with the summer house on one side and mature planting on the other, it is a peaceful and relaxing area.
The Front Hall of the Georgian House provides a stunning indoor option for small intimate ceremonies. Hosting up to 20 people, the couple can make their entry or exit via the sweeping staircase to maximise impact. The adjacent Drawing and Dining rooms provide space for guests to mingle before and after the service as well as excellent photographic backdrops.
Both larger function rooms within the Courtyard are also licenced for ceremonies – with the possibility to decorate the rooms in whatever style you wish, these spaces provide a blank-canvas indoor location.
With this range of ceremony location options, you’re inevitably going to fall in love with one (or all) of them when you visit. But then of course, irrespective of where you host your ceremony all these spaces are still available and open to you, so don’t worry about missing out on a photographic opportunity.
