This year’s autumnal equinox is today Tuesday 22nd of September meaning autumn officially starts (if you go by the astronomical season and not the meteorological one). So we thought we would walk you through some of our favourite autumn weddings here at Tullyveery.

Even though our gardens are a labour of love and we get such joy from the flowers blooming, autumn is secretly our favourite season here. The mature grounds and trees turning golden can be quite stunning. Making for some spectacular backdrops for our couples on their big day.

We love this season also because we find in summer our couple’s plan and hope for a good day weather wise but in autumn they plan for the ‘worst case scenario’ weather and can actually end up with an Indian summer or a dry day, warm and dry enough for outdoor canapes and drinks and crisp enough for blankets and smores and with the nights getting darker earlier it allows for a sparkler send off…..it can really be quite magical!

Have a browse at a handful of our autumn weddings and if it’s an autumn wedding you are thinking of be it 2021 or further away there is no better time to view our venue than in the season you wish to marry in. Why not come and see it in all it’s glory.

Contact us for a private viewing where you can walk around the grounds and see if Tullyveery is the venue for you.
